It all started with a jewelry making class that quickly evolved from a hobby to a passion and Chain Effects was born. One thing led to another and we have since launched our Blessing Beads jewelry. All of our jewelry is handcrafted in the United States.

About the Jewelry

Because our jewelry is made by hand, it is common to have small variations from piece to piece. We feel that the uniqueness from handcrafting lends to the charm of our creations.

Some tangling is unavoidable during shipping, especially with wire wrapped jewelry. Carefully untangle your jewelry and store flat or hang for best results.

Care of your Jewelry

Earwires should be cleaned with a cotton ball dampened with rubbing alcohol prior to wearing to remove impurities from designing and shipping your earrings.

Tarnish is naturally occurring in most metals. In some cases, tarnish can add to the charm of the jewelry, giving it an old world patina. The best way to prevent metal from tarnishing is to prevent oxygen, humidity and sulfide gases from coming in contact with the metal by storing it in airtight containers.

There are many chemical-free ways to remove tarnish. Boil a kettle of water. Line the bottom of a pan with aluminum foil. Place tarnished metal in the pan so it touches the foil. Cover the metal with the boiling water and add a tablespoon of baking soda. When the tarnish is gone, rinse and dry the metal.
